Karlstad can offer you a great selection of different accomodations. There are about 15 hotels in the town with varying price ranges and standards. Karlstad is one of the cities in Sweden with most hotels, so you will surely find your hotel.

There are two big camping sites in Karlstad, Skutberget and Bomstadbaden, they also have cabins to rent. The two camping grounds are close to lake Vänern with beaches that invite to bathing and other water activities. Karlstad also has other forms of accomodations, like a youth hostel and bed and breakfast.
